The Friends of Highland Recreation and our MDNR Partners have complete fantastic renovations to the former Edsel and Eleanor Ford Lodge site at Haven Hill in Highland State Recreation Area.

Park visitors can enjoy a FREE shuttle ride to the top of Haven Hill during the Haven Hill Festival on Saturday, September 26th. Get to the top of the Ford’s former beautiful Haven Hill and enjoy a special interior view of the former “Carriage House” which held the family’s automobiles and chauffeurs' quarters, AND see the newly renovated Lodge Site and the restored historic 100+ year-old Lodge’s great room chimney!
