You're Invited: Friends of Highland Recreation Area Annual Meeting

Dear Friends,

Each year FOHRA hosts an annual meeting on the first Wednesday evening in November,  to not only commemorate the anniversary of Edsel B. Ford's birth, but also to bring you up to date on the accomplishments over the last year on the  buildings and grounds of the former Ford Haven Hill Estate.

Please come, enjoy some refreshments and meet our core group of volunteers who have put sweat equity into these historic buildings since the fall of 2007.

Find out what we need and how you could possibly play a part in helping us reach our goal.

The Friends of Highland Recreation Area (FOHRA) volunteer organization was established in 2007, and is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt non-profit organization operating under lease agreement with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Within one of the most picturesque, fascinating, and historically significant state parks in southeast lower Michigan, our goal is to combine the former Haven Hill estate history with Highland Recreation Area’s existing amenities, wilderness, and recreation.
