2014 Artist in Residence Program Kick-Off at the Historic Gate House The Friends of Highland Recreation Area are excited to open the Haven Hill Gate House garage interior to the public at the Redbud Reveal event in April of 2014. This year the building will host a working artist as part of a new “Artist in Residence” program at Haven Hill. Through the residency titled "Memories in Time - The People of Haven Hill" a series of portraits will pay tribute to those, past and present, who have found Haven Hill to be a jewel and their natural oasis. Come and see the artist creating and presenting the first works in the series and continue to visit throughout the summer to check on progress. The exhibit space will be open to the public from 12 noon until 4:00 pm on April 26. Rain date is Sunday the 27th.
