The Friends of Highland Recreation Area are a non-profit 501c3 organization in Highland, Michigan. FOHRA is a growing group of Michigan residents, business owners and organizations, joining forces to support Highland State Recreation Area and to rejuvenate the historic former Haven Hill Estate of Edsel and Eleanor Ford for everyone to enjoy! Our activities include the Haven Hill Festival, Redbud Reveal, 1860's Base Ball Baseball game, historic renovations, Haven Hill National Natural Landmark, conservation, renovation work, volunteering activities, Michigan Department of Natural Resources functions, and more. Art and the outdoors, photography, natural resources, hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, boating, model airplanes, horseback riding, and all forms of outdoor recreation.
